Flex Place
91̽»¨â€™s new Flexible Work Policy is in effect as of Dec. 1, 2022.
Flowing from the policy, the new flex place procedure was developed as a result of the College’s Work From Home Pilot. This procedure affirms 91̽»¨â€™s commitment to employee wellbeing, work-life balance, EDISJ, sustainability and additional Inspire goals.
Employees who participated in the pilot and are not making any changes to their flex arrangements do not need to re-apply. If seeking changes to existing arrangements, these employees can re-submit an application in Etrieve.
If you are applying for a flexible work arrangement for the first time, please follow the steps in the employee guide and submit your request in Etrieve. The online submission only takes a few minutes.

Eligibility
Flex place work arrangements can potentially apply to all employees of 91̽»¨.
Flex place work arrangements do not apply to all jobs and positions. These arrangements may not be suitable in cases where:
- the functions of the position require a face-to-face, on-campus presence in order to meet student and employee needs;
- team projects require in-person collaboration; or
- departmental operational requirements demand an on-campus presence.
Flex place work arrangements are not entitlements; all flex place work arrangements are voluntary unless specified in the job description.
